Nottingham Forest vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Before the game who would have taken a point , we played better against 11 than 10 , hopefully with the 2 new signings we can start looking up , small steps

I thought Lerma had a decent game. He even passed out wide a couple of times and got a shot on target. Unusual for him. I voted for Lerma.

Not just no shots on target. They hardly had to defend a thing. We had no plan at all for how we were going to try and open them up. We had to defend by far the more dangerous situations
 
Jesus that was awful! We were lucky to get a point. Zac Marsh was our only option off the bench and clearly Glasner wasn’t prepared to give him a try despite the worst performance this season from Pino. Forest were unlucky.

He looks like one of those players if you drop him into Championship or back in other subpar leagues which give you more time he is fine.

Not cut out for the Prem.

People who argue but he plays for Spain yes International football is different again you get more time.
 
Confidence seems very low .
The ideas are there but the passing in around the box was woeful.
So many over hit passes .
Lucky results have gone our way , and Williams channeled his inner Suarez otherwise I think Forest would have beaten us .

Well yes. I was thinking, when Glasner told Parish he wasn't going to renew his contract, what did Parish think at the time? "Thanks mate for giving me advance warning" or "That's a bit snide, I'm going to have to find a legit reason to sack you, I've got to be smart about it though" or "Well ok, whatever happens you're here till the end of the season, we can't possibly get in trouble and I'll think about it in July"...
 
Pino and Johnson were awful. Uche got to show why he isn't playing. We went to a back four and looked vulnerable and clueless.

Our recruitment team have been sh*t since Dougie left and it's catching up with us.

We have 24 hours to sign a new centre back to replace Guehi and to sign JP's replacement.

I think he’d get absolutely taken to the cleaners in the Championship. He’s so lightweight
 
Positives are that we got another point and competed well.
The negatives were our sloppy passing, particularly in and around the penalty area and the poor quaity of the crossing.

The lack of a focal point up front should be addressed by the signing of Larsen which hopefully will allow others around him to flourish.
The return of Wharton and Kamada should also make the passing crisper and better weighted.
I thought Pino had a busy game today with plenty of endeavour, but his passing has to be better weighted than was on display today.
