Not sure I understand the dislike of Howe shown on this board. Look at his record. It's rather good.
I think he’s always come across as a bit smarmy, full of himself and not willing to give us any credit in interviews after games he’s played against us with the toon and Bournemouth. Not sure I understand the dislike of Howe shown on this board. Look at his record. It's rather good.
Im hoping they have won the title by the time we turn up. They will be ponceing about like a bunch of fairies and we give them a right royal roasting.
Bring it on 👊
Munoz Hatrick!
This is the very antithesis of Eddie Howe.I think he’s always come across as a bit smarmy, full of himself and not willing to give us any credit in interviews after games he’s played against us with the toon and Bournemouth.
But yes, especially as English managers go, he’s proving to be a decent manager

It's more the media treatment that gets up my nose. They go over the top because he looks like an England manager in waiting. Not sure I understand the dislike of Howe shown on this board. Look at his record. It's rather good.
People like honest managers though who say it how it is, especially in defeat, not delusional ones. Brendan Rodgers was always king of the delusional, the Ten Hag took that crown, it was hard to believe you was watching the same game sometimesHe's not trying to appease our fans. He has to keep his own fans on his side and tell them what they want to hear. Especially the Newcastle ones.
I would expect the same if he were ever our manager.
Eddie Howe took Bournemouth from Division 2 to the PL. They were relegated by a single point in 'Lockdown' season. It's more the media treatment that gets up my nose. They go over the top because he looks like an England manager in waiting.
He has a decent record but he blotted his copybook when Bournemouth were relegated. He was unable to turn their awful run around, much like Pardew, and that is my benchmark for a good manager.
He then got lucky getting the Newcastle job at the same time as the money poured in.
