Next season's kit

Totally agree. We have 1 badge so use it and don't muck around with a bit part version.

I remember reading that Man City have changed their badge about 4 times over the last 20 or so years, which i thought was a joke, however, we are not much better these days.
It depends what you count as a change of crest. Man City have featured two different crests since 1997, so the last 29 years. They've also had their crest colour-faded in some years, as a lot of clubs have, including ourselves, but I wouldn't count that as a change of crest.

Palace have featured three different crests since 2010, so in the last 16 years. The retro crest this season will make it four in 17 years.

Everton have featured three different crests in the last 20 years, including one which was dumped after a year due to fan backlash (rightly so, it was an eyesore).

Villa have had three in 10 years, Brighton have had four in 20 years, Bournemouth have had three in 20 years, Chelsea have had three in 22 years, Arsenal have had three in 24 years. Liverpool just two in 20 years.

Jesus Christ, when will palace have good kits?

We've got one of the most recognisable, simple, classic kit designs in history, red and blue stripes, and white with a red and blue sash. Why f*** about with it? I wish we were more like Stoke. They don't f*** about with their kit, just keep it crisp, clean, simple.

That black 'kit' is wholly indistinct from any generic third kit, warm up top, or training kit in the world. Literally nothing about it is unique to crystal palace football club apart from the badge.
Totally agree. Red and blue stripes, quite broad, no white in between, MAYBE yellow collar and cuffs as a nod to the 1970 kit (but red or blue would do as well) - AND the modern badge which is the finest evolution of all the former ones with its Crystal Palace building, ribbon, and 1861 below the eagle. Make the badge nice and visible, and embroider it, not print it, onto the shirt. I can live with either blue or red shorts and socks. Then let's have the away shirt white with the sash in solid colours and perhaps, if you must, the retro badge, but can we make the animal on it look like an eagle and not an infants' school drawing of a pterodactyl?
