Apropos clubs of such stature, the clubs Marco Rose has managed include Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, he has managerial experience in the Champions League.Bournemouth announced his appointment for the next campaign in April, 5 games before the end of the season.
That's the way to do it.

I don't get why so many think Rose is some huge deal. He won the league in Austria with one of the richest teams in it, and won a German Cup at Leipzig, who are also a big and wealthy club. Otherwise, though, he has won nothing and his spells at some of those bigger German clubs were cut short by sackings or mutual partings after underperformance.

I'm not saying I would have objected to his appointment at Palace, but if he is indicative of the best of the candidates that we could have tied to a contract early, then I can understand Palace waiting to play the game a bit.

I am not in a position to comment as to the reason why an announcement from CPFC has not been forthcoming prior to the end of the season mirroring Bournemouth.

I thought it might be Gareth Southgate or even a return for Super Alan Pardew, but now I think it's going to be Thomas Frank, he's had a rest and chance to go to the hairdresser and come back suitably rejuvenated.

Kieron mckenna’s the other name that keeps cropping up. Tim Sherwood mentioned him with us on ssn this morning.

I still believe we are getting Iraola though.

Offered him massive wage increase, full control over the team and transfers, chance to live in London and possibly (fingers crossed) a team in europa league!!

Pity we don't know someone who knows Iraola wife , she may have the call and if its London she wants its us 🤣
Going by the media that may well have a lot to do with it. They say he himself has his heart set on London. Of course that could be his wife setting it for him, as they do.

Whatever get's him through the door. Once you step inside it takes you over.
