The 3rd favourite looks a wise old Sage, but to be Thomas Frank, I’d sooner have Toppmoller

Forget Iraola now that the Pool have sacked Slot. If they are sniffing about him he won't come to the Palace. Needed a firm commitment before today. Usual spanner in the works for us sorting out a manager. Personally I'd be happy with Frank, Thomas not Lampard. Proven experience in the PL with a similar profile to Palace and has longevity as been at a "bigger club'. Might say his time at Spurs wasn't great but that club is a toxic environment for any manager. Set the foundations at Brentford for a solid PL team, just like Ollie has done here. As a result he can take on the mantle here. Whilst Lampard has similar in terms of a bigger club, Frank is not attached to a club presently so if he's keen no ummhing n arrghing. Not sure now about Iraola , He hasn’t won a cup and only just scrapped into Europe , Not sure he’s the one ..

No real experience in the PL with a club like ours. If he can do something with Coventry this season then perhaps but then the position might not be there. Surely the other Frank, Thomas is a safer bet ?I have no issue with lampard , think it would be a good choice and the players know who he is

Worried that he might be another Potter tho. He bombed at Wets Spam after being sacked by ChelseaForget Iraola now that the Pool have sacked Slot. 43 tomorrow, happy birthday skipRe Paddy, I suspect the former unless Steve has said he can't guarantee him a role at Palace.

Agree other than Liverpool probably won’t appoint Iraola despite their interest .Forget Iraola now that the Pool have sacked Slot. If they are sniffing about him he won't come to the Palace. Slot has just been sacked by a far bigger club in terms of profile than us. It would probably take months for him to decide to come to us. Time that frankly we cannot give. Our game plan must be at looking at the managers that we had an eye on for a number of months, target them n pick the best out of them, than a manager available at a recent new scenario.Anyone fancy Slot?

Plus, what would he really offer?Slot has just been sacked by a far bigger club in terms of profile than us. It would probably take months for him to decide to come to us. Don't agree with you there Chelsea had a transfer ban on them he got them 4th and fa cup final , also he has European experience as a player in abundance , plus uncle Harry can help ,No real experience in the PL with a club like ours. Fair points about his first tenure at Chelsea but ended with 2 wins in 8. However his second tenure as caretaker ended really badly with a terrible record, 9 % win rate, 1 win in 11. Also his tenure at Everton wasn't brilliant. Remember it was our capitulation, throwing away a two goal lead at the arse end of the season that saved them although he came in when they were in trouble. If he does come he can praise us for giving him "one of his greatest nights of his career" 😀 Next season he was again sacked with a 1 win in 11 record. All seems a little hit n miss imho. Possibly his best moments as a manager have been with Derby n Coventry in the Championship.Don't agree with you there Chelsea had a transfer ban on them he got them 4th and fa cup final , also he has European experience as a player in abundance , plus uncle Harry can help ,
we are bigger than Brentford also Bournemouth come to that , so next manager is a risk who ever we get , Lampard has done his training so for me not a risk , but there again I thought Peter Taylor was going to do well
