Reminds me of a great scene in the crime drama Luther when he knocks at the door of an aging London Crimelord.

Luther: "Come with me, please."
Aging London Crimelord: "Sorry, mate, who are you again?"
Luther: "Police."
Aging London Crimelord: "Which police?"
Luther: "The police."
Aging London Crimelord: "I don't care if you're ****ing Sting!"

Is because he hasn’t paid his tv licence perhaps so he’s gone rogue ?

Zippy & Bungle also have gone underground too perhaps it’s them ?

It’s all just a real news this world if it was any Joe public his name rightfully so would be in the papers on tv but some celebs are protected cos when it all comes out everyone says why didn’t BBC , ITV speak up if they knew !

The lawsuits start flowing at them rightly so just like it should be with “born again I’ve suddenly found Jesus Brand “

Yet I guess no one has pressed changes on either Zippy,Bungle or David whomever it maybe
 
The judge made the right call, let's hope the appeal fails. This is a complex area the rights of the accused against the accusers.

Parliament should and has legislated on this, rather than one judge in one case. I personally believe that someone accused of sex crimes should be anonymous up to the point they are charged. After that they should be named.

In this case the celeb has expensive lawyers and doctors, if the verdict had gone his way then the judge would be siding with the rich and the powerful, because Joe Public would not get the same protection.

it was Craig Charles, of Red Dwarf, who argued that you should get anonymity until ( and if ) you are found guilty. Otherwise your reputation gets tainted for a crime you never committed. IIRC he got cleared of some bedroom crime and found innocent.

i reckon he had a fair point about anonymity.

Yup I can see that, however it is complicated which is why it should be Parliament making this decision not a lone judge whose judgement could impact many other cases. I hope the court of appeal kicks it out for that reason.
