Anyone see the new speakers hanging off the Holmesdale roof. F**king massive, they was banging out some noise yesterday. It was loud when we was having a drink out on the grass at the top of the holmesdale, someone needs to have a word with whoever’s sorting the playlist though.

I mentioned this in the other thread. I wasn't a fan of them. There's one hanging right beside me in the main stand. It was way too loud and I just wanted to hear our fans sing before the game as the atmosphere was rising.

I did notice Glad All Over at the end was much louder than ususal. Thought it helped the atmosphere.... although it was obviously raucous due to the result.

I sound like an old man but it was too f***ing loud in the Arthur Wait. Great that you can hear what people are saying now on the pitch, but you couldn't even have a conversation with the person next to you at half time it was so loud.

There are a lot of adverse comments on this topic, but as someone who is no longer able to visit the hallowed Selhurst I am unable to contribute.

However, I assume that a suitable complaint has been lodged with the relevant parties to help them find the volume knob.

Too loud in the Whitehorse, we had the same issue years ago, you can’t hear what anyone’s saying before the game and at half time

Totally agree with you!
I sit in Hol Upper gallery and I get there early to talk to people around me not to listen to the Vengaboys at a 1000 decibels!

I think it needed improving in game i.e. hearing substitutes names and also any interviews with ex players at h-t but most of the people who get there early want to just watch the team warm up or chat with people not have the feeling that they're at a 90's rave!

Spot on, handy for hearing the important stuff, but I had a headache when the game started, not because of the noice but where I was having to shout and repeat the same sentence so people could hear me over the speakers.

I was told that he'd just popped out for a burger.........

Because they're so large, and I sit near the back of the Holmesdale Upper, they now obscure my view of the scoreboard.

i was told that the guy from Talksport complained that not only were they so loud that he couldn't hear them talking to him but also that they obscured his view of one of the goals from the press box.
