Naming the new stand.

Firstly it hasn't been built yet! Build costs going over budget as well.
But I wouldn't rule out some sort of commercial naming rights deal being banded around as that raises
££££!

My 10p worth.

The sir Steve Coppell or Steve Parish Stand. So I guess the ‘Steve Stand’ would kill 2 birds…

In all fairness I would be happy with the Steve parish stand. Some don’t like him but he has always had the clubs best interests at heart and we would all be supporting different teams if he and the others in his group had not stepped in.
You speak for yourself. I would be supporting FC Palace, having just won promotion to League 1.

Yeah that bugger Parish saving the club, I was looking forward to AFC Crystal Palace and playing the likes of Chessington & Hook and Chipstead FC, while some were marching on Lloyds I was still in bed planning the tour of Surrey and Sussex in the combined counties league 😀

As one of those gits may I ask what your point is?
Sainsbury's are the gits, not you sir. I remember a large double-banked terrace divided by a wall I used to perch on as a youngster which bent round the corner to meet the Arthur Wait. Now it looks OK but the view is poor, and I'd prefer a bigger better stand without a supermarket encroaching onto our beloved ground. That's my point.

Maybe they’ll let us knock it down if we name the stand after them!

Remember the away fans were sometimes just contained in a small section in the middle at the back surrounded by police. As a kid I used to watch from the new stand terrace as fights broke out every week

I really dislike this trend of naming stands or grounds after major sponsors ie Etihad, Emirates, Amex etc, but I guess money talks these days.

We have the Arthur Wait named after an ex chairman so, despite the fact that his ego would go through the roof, I assume Mr Parish should get a mention. He has, after all, done more for our club than previous chairmen. I wouldn't object to a Steve Parish stand.

But I would object to a Net88 stand
