I wouldn't make him available until either Khalali and/or Gozo have proven themselves in the league/cups.

We could keep Munoz for the season and sell him with a year left on his contract. He's proven quality and I'm not seeing much of a downside.

For me it would have to be a very good offer to change that view and due to his age I'm not seeing mega money coming in for him anyway.

Munoz must not be sold, profit margin or not. We've replaced a star performer with either a young hopeful or an expensive flop too many times recently, and largely just weakened the team. This is not a strong team we've got at the moment. There isn't much profit in getting relegated.

Yeah, this. The upside of him being older than the likes of Guehi is that it is less of a financial loss if he goes in a year, or even in two on a free. Unless he really pushes for a move, it would need to be really good money to make it worth our while.

You could be right. There has been talking of moving abroad, but his position is not a strength for many of the top clubs in England. Having said that, I don't think he can be sold if we are harbouring any hopes of winning the Europa

He's been brilliant for us in Glasners system. But lets me honest, he has flaws, and isn't a great crosser. If Sage plays wider forwards, it also changes the dynamic a little in what we need from that position.

Pragmatically, he's 30 and may also want 1 last move whilst there are offers.

Personally I cant see the draw for him in moving to Everton. But a champions League Spanish team, sure.

For me this is a bit simular to the Mateta situation, the sensible move is to sell now, but happy to keep them.

Football is a short career, and if he’s genuinely reached his peak value, you can hardly blame him for wanting one last crack at a so-called “top club” before his career is over.

And here’s the uncomfortable question:

Do Palace cash in NOW while his value is at its highest, or do we keep him and risk watching his value drop — or worse, losing him when he decides the time is right?

I’d absolutely love him to stay. But Palace can’t afford to make decisions purely with the heart. If someone comes in with serious money, do we bite their hand off and reinvest it into 2–3 quality players?

There are those amongst our support base who have been losing faith in the club's recruitment and are far from convinced that such re-investment would prove fruitful.

With two new RWBs supposedly coming in for a combined £30m+, you have to say, it does look like the club are planning for Munoz to leave. He's been my favourite player since he arrived. The guy has unbelievable energy and character and was possibly the most important player under OG. If he gets the chance to move to Barcelona, which he has stated is his dream, then fair play, we should try and get that deal done as he's earned it. If it's anyone else, we should politely decline.

We already have a wingback who has shown himself capable of coping with the Premier League. Rio Cardines needs to improve his defensive skills but going forward looks good and he will improve.

There is the issue of the number of English / home grown players we have in the squad. We need eight and if we keep selling our home grown, young players and buying foreign replacements we might find the squad shrinking until the next transfer window. Rumours abound over Esse, Rak Sakyi, Devenney, Ozoh, Johnson, Wharton etc with only McNeil as a possibility Palace are getting down to the bare bones. I wonder what Matthews best outfield position is?
