Most obnoxious call-in host

Following the sad demise of James Whale without being disrespectful thought I'd see which one of these you find the most objectionable:

Ian Dale
Nick Ferrari
Vanessa Feltz
John Gaunt
Piers Morgan
Nicky Campbell
others I can't remember

Which opinionated mediocrity who loves stupid callers they either agree with or can rip to shreds and cut people off who know what they're talking about do you find most nauseous? Some of you will find James O'Brien painful or the various freaks on GB News. Your opinions please.

James Nob Brain for me; for his condescension, cutting off callers he can't argue with and for the fake empathetic voice he puts on for some callers.

There's some good ones in Ireland. A lot of you would like Niall Boylan. It's hilarious where he discusses immigration. He'd be cancelled immediately in England but he appeals to the Dublin working class and has their views largely. I doubt he'll last much longer. In fact, I haven't heard him for ages.

Here you go. You will find it funny.

From the mists of time I recall broadcaster Tony Butler on Birmingham radio station BRMB.
He used to utter "On 'yer bike" before cutting off the caller whose opinions he disagreed with.
I never considered him to be obnoxious.

I'd absolutely put Mike Graham on the list. A bell-end of terrifying proportions.

But why has no-one mentioned the excrement that is Jeremy Vine?

O'Brien is intolerable, what with his rudeness (e.g., "idiots' corner" for people whose views he doesn't like), the artificial sniggering when talking about right-wing politicians, and his repetition of various statements - he actually tells us he's going to repeat something - because he's so pleased with what he's just said.

I don't know whether Adrian Goldberg has a phone-in programme, but his voice drives me almost to distraction.

Away from phone-ins nothing gets my ancient legs moving faster towards the off switch than when two adverts come on - one for Weetabix and the other (on TV) for something I couldn't even name - I just know that two adults exchange baby talk. God help this country!

George Gale had his moments on LBC but Brian Hayes (Brian b****** according to Private Eye) had quite a way with him. Anyone calling him could have every fact and figure at their fingertips and still get the shortest shrift imaginable.

James O'brien and Nick Ferrari for me.

James was OK prior to brexit. He extensively called out and reported on the mp's expenses scandal. I'd even had a couple of decent conversations with him around 10 years ago.

Then I guess his handlers had a word with him. He's in his middle class bubble not caring or understanding the working class of this country.

I recall a phone call one listener made once.

A builder had phoned in to say that polish builders were making life hard for English builders by undercutting them.

This he said was done by many sharing the same house/flat and so saving in overheads.

Also that the money generally went back to Poland, did not stay in this country to help the economy.

James answer to this, was - that's great I get my building work done at a cheaper price.

Ferrari pretends to understand the working class. But like so many, covid showed his true colours..

I have no issue at all with Nick Ferrari. I find him compelling viewing.

Fair enough. But during "lockdown" he wanted to fine people who would not take an experimental medical procedure.

For entertainment purposes he's good. He says all the right things if you are more right leaning, like myself. However he was a bully during "covid" and I can't forget that.

I don't think I am saying anything controversial by stating I don't trust any journalist employed by the mainstream. Including and especially G B news.

He also uses a special sympathetic voice which makes him sound as though he's talking to a three year old.

This is tactic I've seen used by condescending journalists before; trying to belittle their opponents.

He's basically saying his (Ferrari's) arguments are not good enough, so he adopts a different approach.

Just like Trump he will draw people in with some of his common sense views against very silly people. This will get him a following, but it's all lip service.

Vanessa Feltz is part of that false contrived happy clappy usually bbc trained mob, along with Chris Evans, Alex Jones and Ferne Cotton

Viewing? I thought he was just on LBC, and that having got up at 3.30 or some other unearthly hour, he wouldn't have the time or energy to take on any other work. Please tell me where he is to be viewed. I have no problem with him.
