Sounds like he’s talking about how he wants to be remembered , not Mateta.

I think he should have signed a new contract and finished what he started, should have known exactly the size of club he was signing for, should have figured out to break down a low block, should have rotated more earlier, made substitutions more frequently, should not have told the players he was leaving 24 hours before a game, should not give post-match interviews if he has all the emotional regulation of a toddler and that he has missed the point entirely - we do feel that way about Eze and Guehi, there is a clear difference.

Seeing as he clearly couldn’t care less what we think why should we care about what he thinks?

I think he basically had a good year or so, then he slipped back into Bambi on ice mode which we’d got used to in his first three years. Goals change games and he’s missed some big chances in recent weeks

Let him go. If Glasner doesn’t like that then he will either have to step up and change his team to suit, or down tools and go. It should be in Glasner’s own interests to turn this around if he wants to put himself in the shop window. At the moment failing to adapt and openly criticising your employer is not something that he should want in his CV.

The deal appears to be done with Milan. The reports suggest the hold up is getting a replacement. We might not get one, in which case the point of holding on to Mateta is what? Get him gone. Any suggestion that Glasner has a say in the matter, and is holding out, is ridiculous for the obvious reason.
If he was going to Forest I get the point of a brief delay, but there is no point with the Milan deal.

Regardless, let Mateta go. Take the money and find a suitable replacement in the summer. Why pay an inflated £50M for Larson when we don't know who is our next manager.

I'm quite sure it was barnsley we played (lost 0-2 and he saved a penalty.
It wasn't the one where barnsley wore our away kit as that ended 0-0 in our promotion season.
