Is it time to cash in on this pair in January, should get at least 70m+ for the pair, 28 and 29 respectively, and get Johnson and Boey (if we could) 24 and 25 respectively, and bring in Oscar Bobb in a loan with option/obligation to buy, wages wouldn't be a problem, to freshen up our attack.

To be fair I'd take that

Mateta yes, he’s replaceable, especially on current form

Munoz nooooooo, best and most committed player we’ve had for donkeys years.
There is a time for selling, and this is the time for both, 50m for Muñoz and 25/30 for Mateta, if not we get into another Guehi situation, Boey is a good RWB, and 25

Except rumour suggests he'd like a move to a bigger club and at 29 he needs to be doing that in one of the next 2 windows. His current contracts ends in June 2027 BUT we do have a 1 year option. Ideally we should sell him next month as he hits 30 in May. We won't get £50m for him but we might get £30-35m given his proven PL ability.

Munoz has said he would like to play for Barcelona, unfortunately they are broke and have to get approval from the Spanish league before signing anyone.

If he does go to Barcelona it wont be for a big fee.

100%

We need to be on the front foot and actively manage the squad. if we can get £30m+ for either we should take it. Ideal age (for us) to be selling.

Without a shadow the best RB/WB we've ever had. Everything in Parish and Co's power should be done to keep Danny. Irreplaceable imo. Considering JP's age if we get a good price for him worth cashing in - although he is one of the top scorers in the Prem and will be hard to replace quickly. Chris Uche definitely needs a few starts there's a very good player in there as with Esse. Would like to see JRS back too.

At the end of the day, if there are big offers we'll have to consider them. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for good offers. We'll probably get some low ball offers. Neither should go for less than 30 mil in January in my opinion - and only if we've agreed replacements. More likely to go for slightly less in the summer.

Yep rather keep em until the summer at least. Can see the benefit in cashing in by then though.

I am hoping we will be allowed to strengthen a bit at least without anyone going, in Jan. Based on current trajectory and comments of Oli and Steve.

We need three players in, a rotation option for Mateta, a rotation option for Sarr and Pino (someone who can play either side), and a backup or rotation for Mũnoz.

Tbh, even two signings will do if they are the right ones. The biggest noise right now is around Sasha Boey and Brennan Johnson.

If both of those rumours are true and we pull them off, Boey is a great rotation option with Mũnoz, and Brennan could cover all three attacking roles at a high level.

I'd hate to see Munoz leave as he brings so much positive energy to the team, as well as goals.

As for JP .. I was going to say he's not the player he was, but in fact he is the player he was - i.e. in the days of Roy and Viera. However, the arrival of Glasner seemed to have transformed him into a sharp and potent striker. But, this season, that composure and confidence in front of goal seems to have deserted him. Perhaps it will come back, but with a midfield that doesn't contribute goals we cant afford to have our main striker mis-firing as well. However, even with his current malaise, I wouldn't let him go unless we have decent replacement lined up.

Somone will have to be sold to make up for the Guihe money we have missed out on.

Its a bit risky to move just before a world cup. Matetas in the best place if he wants to get into that French squad.

Munoz is 30 next year so prob time to cash in. I heard we might be after a RB from Bayern.

Hearing we couldn't agree terms with Bayern. We've moved onto other targets.

It depends on which day (or minute) you’re watching him. He’s inconsistent at the moment. Think he just needs to be rested… but it’s not possible unless someone comes in… or it could be, but Oli won’t do it with Uche or Eddie.

To be Frank ( im not Frank btw ) i wouldnt trust that if we did sell them both in the Jan window the money would be re-invested into the squad. I also think you are at least 10 million short, 40 million each would be a fair price imho .

You may complain about Mateta's finishing this season, and while it may not be on the same level as last year let's not turn our noses up at the fact he is joint third place in the leagues top scorers, behind Thiago and Haaland only.
