Mass shooting in Sweden

10 people shot dead at a school in Sweden on Monday, but 4 days later not a word about it here.

Why is that? Those here are usually very quick to comment on events in Sweden.

Could it be that this time the victims appear to probably be immigrants and the perpetrator a locally born loner?

good question. If you follow the model now in operation in Ireland, a fella becomes fully Swedish when he walks from the airplane toward the arrival Gate at the terminal buildings. It takes five or ten steps to become more Swedish than Ingvar Kamprad.
The media call you the 'New Swedish'. Your total and utter lack of knowledge of the country is irrelevant. No language, culture, history or knowledge of things Swedish is all seen as twee, funny, and curious. You are nevertheless fully Swedish now.

Statistically, very much so. When it comes to discussing such things on here, the ‘home grown’ incidents seem to get far less discussion for some reason.

Which was why I asked the original question. Not whether any are better, worse or more frequent. All are equally bad, unacceptable and deserving of comment.

Again, very much agreed. But how many pages do you reckon this thread would have now if it was an immigrant that did it?

There were 10s of bombings already in Sweden this year. Last year a woman pushing her child in the pram was killed in one. I think the child was killed too. It wasn't discussed here very much. People wouldn't have time to cover all the ridiculous actions of the immigrants and their offspring in Sweden.

People accept that there is always going to be some crime. Most are not that naive. Home grown or immigrant crime don't trump each other as is trying to be demonstrated here.

The obvious point is: why import a large amount of crime? Why not control your borders? Or at the very least be able to remove the criminal element who ultimately stain the name of hard working, decent immigrants?
I'm my opinion, there is no particular reason to import any criminality at all. Why add to what is already in a place?
In Sweden's case they had little crime, now they've bloody loads. The cause is there for everyone to see. It's a real shame, particularly for the Swedes and, frankly, for many of their immigrants.

while you are right, many Swedes i have spoken with are brainwashed. On the Gary Linekar page. They cannot, or will not, see or hear any reality other than....."isn't everything marvellous. So much exotic new cuisine to enjoy on the high street. And wonderful to see so many fewer all Swedish couples pushing a pram down the shopping mall". Their enthusiasm for wholesale mass abortions did shock me - waving the flag and shouting it proud - almost like a badge of honour.
