I was at the Fulham game and remember his “lap of honour” after scoring. However I also remember his greatest footballing moment, at Wembley in 1967, a great cup upset. Look out for the scorer of the winning goal 👍

If you are referring to the Fulham game it must be a myth. Fulham were leading 2-0 before the historic Palace comeback, to win 3-2

I recall this game with a degree of clarity.
Apart from Mark Lazarus, the other scorers were Cliff Jackson (Who scored the winner) and Steve Kember.
The scorers of the Fulham goals have been erased from my memory.

His lap of honour goal celebration was his trademark & he was a valuable member of the promotion team that season, scoring 11 goals. He did make 4 appearances in the top flight the following season, including the opening game v Man U & scored in the 3-1 win at home to Stoke, before moving to Orient.

Thanks for the correction. I probably was at the Stoke game as well. Colin Taylor was another player who played a big part in the promotion season but then went back to Walsall. Boy, did he have a hard shot on him

Colin Taylor had a kick like a mule.
I recall his goal in our 2-1 win over the mighty Leeds in the FA Cup.Leeds won the old 'Division One' that season.
Sadly Colin Taylor has deceased.
