I saw him play at Selhurst Park a few times and, whilst it didn't work out for him on the pitch, I always felt he gave 100% effort in an impossible attempt to fill Ian Wright's boots.

You’ve hit the nail on the head there, we carried on banging the balls up front for Marco to chase like we did with Wrighty, but he just didn’t have the pace, not many did have Wrightys pace.

Sounds a bit dramatic. Having had a triple by pass nearly 20 years ago it was pretty straight forward in on Wednesday PM,Op Thursday, Home Monday and six weeks off work. Am still here ! Anyway wish Marco well.

Talking of heart attacks, many of you will know Danny Foley, guvnor of the old Selhurst Arms, The White Horse & The Two Brewers. Early Sat morning he suffered one & atm is in 'Mayday' about to be transfered to Kings. He's OK & chippa. Just putting it out there.
