Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Wharton last week committed a very clear foul to stop a very clear goal scoring opportunity. It wasn’t a challenge for the ball as he had no chance of getting it. Result, a yellow. Today Lacroix puts a hand on the should outside the area for a player running an angle to the goal. Not even a foul. Result, a red card. Astonishing refereeing

He did hold him back.
He did, and he I don’t think he needed to. I’m not surprised it’s given but I hate penalties like that, he wasn’t brought down, he decided to go down and he decided exactly when to go down. Sarr would probably have done the same though (probably wouldn’t have been given).

Really awful decision that. Never a penalty (contact started outside the box), barely a foul, not a goalscoring opportunity. Awful.

No he didn't. He went for the ball and got it, with the player.
