With all that running around and pressing that Johnson does, I'm surprised he can even stand up.

I've no real problem with palace f***ing this game off. We've got bigger (or at least other) fish to fry. What I don't really understand is, if you're going to chuck the game, why pick any first xi players at all? I know there are rules about the maximum number of changes a team can make but so what? Let them fine us. Play kids and squad players. This is just another 12 kilometres or so in the legs of Mitchell and Munoz and another night of graft for the three centre backs who, surely to f***, don't need the fitness?

As expected so far. They are a good team with something to play for. We are a poor team with nothing to play for.

Nah, there's just nothing to play for and we have had to rotate to increase our chances of actually winning something.

We've done well to get to a final and stay comfortable in the league with our budget. Can't have it all.

I was trying to look up ' minimum amount first team players played in game ' and couldn't find any info .
Do you or anyone have the link ?

I didn't think it exists - it's more a subjective thing I thought. I could be wrong as I rarely look into anything. That's how I got my PhD.

Until they worked us out and forced us to play early from the back, making our midfield drop and defend deeper and deeper.

No midfield out ball for us with that team selection so unless we change I can see this being 4 or 5 nil.

Doesn’t really matter but isn’t good for morale and we continue to put more miles on the back 5’s legs.

Good analysis. We're rubbish when we drop deep. We've no one like Bolasie or Zaha as our out ball.
