I think Glasner sacrificed Mateta to try and get some control back in midfield as we were being overrun at the end of the first half.
Sadly it's not worked and we're being thumped.
I do think we miss Guehi as we look very disorganised at the back.
We have to try and get through the rest of the game without the risk of further suspensions.

The problem wasn’t that we needed more in midfield. It was that we needed Hughes in it and not Kamada. Substitution was ludicrous

Maybe, but we were leading 0-2, and very much on the attack when it was Kamada's stupid challenge that gave away the free kick that led to the goal, and changed the whole face of the game. The other 'poor' ones were at least defending.....

What? We were fine UNTIL Kamada's useless attempt handed them the goal and the momentum. Sorry, it's on him, that was a pivotal moment.

Largely borne out of Kamada being in the middle

He’s not a centre mid, he’s not defensive, he’s not an attacker. He destroys the whole unit.

I’m not entirely what question he is the answer too, other than

Have you missed that for the 2 goals first half you could blame him.

I am not even goign to mention all the other mistakes.

You are correct some players have not been on it but that i would say is due to once those 2 went in the confidence etc was gone otherwise first 20min we was on fire.

KdB is in a different class, Wharton and Kamada don't come close. Glasner's tactical set-up always leaves us a bit short in midfield. If the ball can find the wide men quickly then it tends to work, but if the opposition have the quality of someone like KdB then the holes become apparent. Not having Guehi available doesn't help either.

kamada should never play for us again. But he will. The best thing he can do now the game is lost is get sent off for a straight red that sees him banned for 3 games
