Man U

"Public money".....

More transfer of wealth to the super rich.

It's a bit like a circus Big Top, which is really suitable for them.

Radcliffe has form on this via Ineos where he buys up businesses (often from state ownership,) then gets government grants to try to turn them round and then hopefully sell them on.

I reckon he has looked at the London stadium a ground paid for by the good people of London and occupied by West Spam for buttons
and thinking let's dress this up as a community asset and get the government to pay for it.

Nobody likes a government handout more than a corporation. And they wonder why there's no growth, as the people are in debt, the government are in debt, but they printed all that money - where is it? Ratciffe's pocket (and his ilk), and he won't spend it either, except on assets for himself which drives up the prices of assets and that make life harder for us all.

He's a wanker alright.

Also funny how they'll have no trouble with planning permission plus they'll get funding. Yet, obviously all we get is hassle. We should move and f*** our council. I don't see any other businesses of note in the area. But the council seem to hate us. The feeling's mutual.
The Croydon Council has always had delusions of grandeur. Why should they put up with a pesky yo-yo club in the backyard of their Monaco-esque enclave of the grand city of Londrés?

Man Utd can do what they want with the ground so long as not a penny of taxpayer money is put into the development. Yesterday’s announcement was basically a lobbying effort by Ratcliffe to get public money.
