I sent an email to the club about this last season but they are not listening. The club are being too greedy for the re-sales, they wont get resold so STH'er and the potential buyers especially those on low income will lose out. For the Villa game last season there were 5,000 unsold season ticket seats according to a friend who is a senior steward.

You’ve only got to look at the ticket selection map before a home game and you can see how many are up for resale. That’s a massive part of why I get a season ticket, not through any sense of loyalty, but because it’s a lot cheaper over the season, it would hurt having to pay £54/£65 for one game to watch some of the tripe we get at selhurst a lot of the time
