Well, not that I am a very sensitive type of person - but at the final whistle - I looked around where I was sitting - and loads of people were crying and hugging each other.

It got to me, I couldn’t help it - tears rolling down my cheeks…in front my sons…I didn’t care….

Why? I guess after years of supporting Palace - my greatest wish finally came true. We won the F A Cup and in playing in Europe.

Not sure what was shown on TV, but honestly…tons of people crying at the final whistle….it means so much to all of us

Did we win? You have to be a Palace fan to understand what has just happened, a day we will never thought would come, them rainy nights away at Shrewsbury are all worth it, what a club we are, don't forget the past, Roy, Smith, Coppell etc, it any player says the want to leave, shoot them, a day we will never forget, best wishes and love to all Palace Fans

No tears but more a great feeling of relief. A weight has been lifted now we've finally won something that matters. And not the League Cup but the big one. And Europe to come. Life is good.

Well, I cried. Quite a lot.

My Dad took me to my first game in 1961. Like all us older fans we have seen some great times, some very worrying times and some very, very horrible football.

But none of it compares to today.

I am complete.

You beat me by 6 years. No tears yet but I'm up the pub tomorrow and who knows what will happen after a skinful. Probably be like a dumped bride watching Love Story.

I'm in Thailand & called my Dad in Crawley before the game. Remember him saying we'd never win the FA Cup in his lifetime (he's 91) but now we have!!! He must've gone crazy & nearly had a heart attack! But what a way to go (I'm sure he's alive, by the way.) Yeeeeessss! I'm so effing happy after 55 years supporting this team - wow! We just beat the Premier League Champions from the last 4 years. Well deserved. This day will live forever in my memory.

I've always laughed at crying fans, but to my own shock, at 98 minutes I realised we were so close and started to well up, and when the whistle went I just burst into tears with one of my daughters hugging me !!!

I can't believe it, we won the FA CUP, we're in EUROPE and despite likely finishing below the weeds we STILL beat their season 😀

My Arsenal son in law said we're also now in the community shield in August, I didn't even realise lol

Can relate, I called my dad and said finally won something, 80 years he waited

I’m from Anglesey North Wales and people ask me why I support Palace. I have done for 48 years and sat today in my local with another Palace fan. There is probably only 2 of us on Anglesey. Today is the reason why I support Palace, to finally win something. Not beacause we have more money than the rest but because we are a team and every Palace fan has stuck with the team through the bad days and some good days, here and there, for a day like today. So when people now ask me why I support Palace it is because of what happened on 17th May 2025. Congratulations to Oliver and everybody connected with Palace and enjoy the feeling.

Two images from (almost) the final whistle today:-

Steve Parish with an Adam’s apple going up and down like a Porsche piston on full throttle, whilst trying to pretend it wasn't happening, and

a a 9 or 10 year old City fan, with the latest kit and a smartwatch, going redder and redder in the face before finally breaking out into a snotty bawl and looking like someone had just taken his best toy....

After 35 years of constant sneers from other fans of clubs and why Palace? Comments , today was sweet finally we have won a cup of and qualified for Europe.

Can’t wait for the Charity Shield warm up game on the last day of the season. The two clubs of the season face off. Never dreamed it could happen.
