Loaned-Out Players

Whitworth did look good last night but I never felt at penalties that he would save any. He looks so small in goal compared to other keepers. It may have been hard on him but I feel a taller keeper should have replaced him just before the end of the match for the penalties?
Barthez was only an inch taller.

Forest keeper is so tall his head has its own climate, but he was pony

He has a good penalty save record at Palace - it's 5 out of 19 so over 25% saves.

He does the shirt tug / badge worship gesture, probably desperate for a move, so Sheffield United, make an offer that can't possibly be refused! As an aside, he probably realises that he'll never start for Palace, and I'd suggest that the Championship is about the right level for him where he can get regular games and possibly improve his all round game.

Rak Sakyi will obviously be sold in the summer, Glasner doesn't rate him. Why would we of bought Esse, if Rak Sakyi had a future here.

I thought it was interesting Schluppy came on the moment Olise went off. Perhaps Celtic think Olise knows him too well!

I’ve noticed that Scottish commentators seem to pronounce him as Schloop.
I was looking forward to Schlupp v Olise. At the very least Schlupp would have known not to let him come back onto his left foot . I dont recall him ever crossing a ball with his right foot. Taylor should have let him go to the by line but he’s not the smartest left back which is why they’re going to sign Tierney in the summer.
I think the pronunciation was just the Weegie accent!

Dons, yesterday, away to Fleetwood, 0-0 facing 16 corners. Now 17/31 league cleansheets, 20 goals conceded in 31 league games for Owen Goodman. Methinks this performance is becoming more and more noteworthy. Competition with Joe?
Generally thinking, I would much rather see the first team squad, third string keeper spot (Remi) having come up through the Academy. A £7,500/wk salary (Remi's) spend to someone who is foreseeably on the way down, as opposed to on the way up - to me makes no sense, especially if the likelihood of making the pitch for a league, or even a cup, game lies somewhere between slim and none.
