Liverpool Predictions.

I'm hoping for some fun and games at Anfield and a bagful of goals. Neither team has any real purpose, although we probably get more from a win, both in terms of cash and league position.

I'll go for a 2-2 draw.
 
It's not unusual for a lot of teams and fans to feel they've been robbed at Anfield.

Did they not watch their last game? They were terrible. The opposition were crap too - but still won. They only tried when they were losing.
I don't think they care that much but it could be matched by us.

The last time Liverpool lost the last game of the season when played at Anfield was when Michael Thomas took the title off them in 1989. We've been in 3 FA Cup Finals since then!

So I can understand the pundits going with the obvious prediction - but by the law of averages ....
 
3-3 have 15 at 40/1 will be sitting with aload of Liverpool fans in the pub partying from 3pm and wearing the colours and 2.35 a pint of john smiths , cant get much better than that lol COYP

I don't think Liverpool will be on the beach either. Plus there is the love in for Salah, Sky will be desperate for him to score.
 
Liverpool have seemed on the beach since securing the title but getting the trophy in front of their fans for the first time since 1990, they probably won't be. While we've shown we can be a match for anyone on our day, I'm not sure 'our day' involves missing Guehi and Wharton. I'm hoping for a bright entertaining game but resigned to losing it 3 or maybe 4 to 2.

I'm feeling a bit mean spirited today towards Liverpool.

How about 3-2 to us with an own goal from Salah (I haven't forgotten his dives against us), an own goal from Trent AA (as if their fan base don't like him enough already) and a last minute 30 yard winner from Ward in his final appearance for Palace?

Strange officials.
Darren England, he of the Haaland kicking Andersen’s head fame, is the Referee. England will want to make up for his humiliating performance on VAR duties in the FA Cup Final. He is not known to be sympathetic to Palace.

Paul Howard is on VAR and is a League 1/2 Referee recently promoted from the National League. If he was any good he would be doing the Play-Offs. As he is not even on the PGMOL 2 panel I have my suspicions about Howard Webb’s motives here. It takes a strong personality to turn down a Mo Salah dive not an EFL rookie referee. On the plus side he is from London which is even more strange unless he is a Millwall or Charlton fan!
