Line up for Arsenal in the Cup

I would definitely rest Mateta and start Nketiah. I’d also probably rest one of Hughes and Lerma. Maybe even both. I’d probably bring in Richard’s for one of The back three as well.

I'm guessing this is the first time we have played Arsenal in this cup and the league in the same week since November 1970. I remember going to both games at Highbury

That was the best Palace side ever up to then as we had only lost 3 in 17 games leading up to the cup game. We won 2-0 - I think Tambling scored one of them - and followed up in the league by going ahead via Birchenall before being pegged back to 1-1
Arguably our best week of football ever as it turned out we stopped Arsenal from winning the treble

You would guess Clyne will come in for Munoz, but there is also the possibility Kporha will get more minutes as he seemed to impress OG. Crossing with the outside of your boot on your PL debut takes some b@lls. It would seem odd if OG didn't continue to play his strongest side in this game, given he went strong from the start in the cup.

I think Clyne will replace the suspended Munoz, and Kamada and Nketiah will replace the rested Eze and Mateta ( who will both be involved from the bench).
With Kamada’s suspension and Nketiah’s injury both would benefit from some game time.
I may be wrong, but I think Glasner will prioritise the league game in terms of selection.
my thoughts too. I would rest Eze as he's still not back to 100% and we have a busy xmas period ahead.
Eddie for JP seems another obvious swap.

I'd start Nketia. He's bound to score against his old club thus fully restoring his confidence. This could be a game for Kamada to show us what he can really do as well. I hope it can be a turning point for both of them as we need the entire squad firing on all cylinders for the league campaign.

I think he’ll make a couple of changes, with Kamada and Nketiah starting

The strongest team possible for me, I'd love to go through to the semi.

Saying that, any team Glasner chooses is alright by me, the bloke knows what he's doing.

Agreed. However, OG did say that one or two players seemed tired and possibly in need of a rest, so I wouldn't be surprised to see several changes from the team that started the triumph on the Sussex coast.
