What are people’s thoughts? Should we put out our strongest 11 given we play them again three days later or would you make changes?

Glasner has made it clear that he wants to win trophies and will take cup games seriously and he showed that he meant that when we went and won at Villa despite our then precarious league position.

I reckon he will put out a strong XI but possibly give a couple of our regular starters a bit of a rest on the bench.

I agree with Robbo that if we can only win one then I'd go for the cup win in the belief that we'll have a much better second half of the season that first half. in the league.

I think Glasner will stick with the same team. He might start Doucoure but Lerma and Hughes is working currently. He might bring on Devenny but probably more likely Kamada - which I disagree with.
As far as I'm aware, Munoz is available but I could be wrong. When you look at our squad, Clyne, Ward, Richards, Chalobah can maybe do the job of a Right back but none can be considered wing backs.

I think Clyne will replace the suspended Munoz, and Kamada and Nketiah will replace the rested Eze and Mateta ( who will both be involved from the bench).
With Kamada’s suspension and Nketiah’s injury both would benefit from some game time.
I may be wrong, but I think Glasner will prioritise the league game in terms of selection.

Only 3 more league games before the Flood of new signings come poring in. 🤔

I wonder if it is Glasner that will make the decision on the strength of the team to be played? I am sure that he will have an input but ultimately it might be SP and DF that make the decision. Bigger picture and all that.

For what it is worth, I hope that we put out a very strong team. We are only two games from a Wembley final and our first ever major trophy.

Munoz is not available.

Coming off the bench (barring a forced injury sub): Lerma, Hughes (or Wharton), Mateta, Kamada, Chalobah (or Riad)
