If the struggling men admitted they were struggling, rather than put on a brave face of macho women hating bravado and realise it’s OK to be yourself and show some vulnerability, they’d maybe elicit some sympathy.

Very good for the gene pool, personally I think chasing is very counter productive and scary, watch a cat affect no interest in its prey and the sudden turn. That Bower bird is certifiable and the Lapwing's courtship is suicidal.
