Leicester win an appeal against a decision that could have led to a points deduction for an alleged breach of Premier League Profit and Sustainability rules.

Sounds like the current PSR roles are yet again not fit for purpose.
Leicester basically extended their accountancy so they could claim they weren't a premier league and then told the EFL they were a premier league club. and the commission agreed. Apparently they were in breach by a fair bit. If they hadn't been relegated they would be looking at 6 point penalty...
Effectively played the system and have got away with it... (assume forest and Everton will be fuming)
They mat still get charged for a breach this season however
So essentially the best way around FFP/PSR is too get relegated and load all your spending between May 31st - June 31st - and come straight back up without any consequences!
