Quelle dommage. You might have been a dead ringer for Citizen Smith, had you done so..I have no recollection of donning a beret in my entire life.

Pinot had a good game with some excellent touches. Would I start last season’s Starr ahead of him on the right - of course but only Sage knows if last season’s Sarr is back yet.Nketiah should have shot….v v poor decision to play a blind ball instead. Timber was MOM. Strand Larsson should be given away. Pinot can’t start again. At least the defence looked good today after a kick up the pants.

I think the main improvement today apart from defensively is we actually looked like a team, we were forward thinking and trying to make something happen going forward. We’ve looked very disjointed at times up until today, so it was good to see.I'll take 1 point over 0 points any day of the week.
I still think we are a few weeks from the teaming actually playing their best football so I'm excited for what is coming up.

And yet it’s Pino that’s a world champion, lucky to be Spanish I suppose😁Any Sarr is better than Pino. He tries his best but he is not world class. Sarr can be and often is.

It was nearly a good pass for which the defender did superb to stop Sarr from scoring. Would have been harder for the keeper to save than Nketiah taking a shot in my opinion. Another day we would have been praising those two?We don’t have a game for three weeks and less people leaving for international duty so we can spend some time working on stuff. I thought it was a 7/10 performance today. Shame Nketiah doesn’t know that strikers shoot and that VAR exists to cancel out our goal.
You might want to check out the goal Forest conceded yesterday. Munoz didn’t look so good then.Almost any RWB in the world would be a downgrade from Muñoz, in my opinion. Especially at our club, where energy and effort will win us more matches than top-level skill.

He is not Ronaldo, Messi or anyone really good…sorry. Neither is Mateta. Sarr is good but needs to sort his head out.And yet it’s Pino that’s a world champion, lucky to be Spanish I suppose😁

I’m the plus side, we won more than 50% of the duels and kept a clean sheet and had the better chances. So many positives plus hopefully not many players away on international duty these next three weeks so we can work on stuff.I am pretty sure I could spend 70 million on two very average Championship level players and pay myself 2 million a year.
Kamada was best player on the PitchI sort of understand all the positive comments about Kamada today - it was an energetic and hard working performance.
I thought he was terrible for at least a year to begin with, but that he really improved and I was happy that he signed on for another year in the end.
Still, I can't imagine that the best Palace XI includes Kamada now, at least not in this formation.
In a very short time Timber has not only shown that he's our best signing of the summer but also illustrated all the things Kamada, even at his best, did badly last year. Timber covers ground with purpose. He is looking to tackle and compete. He pulls out of nothing. He uses the ball no less neatly than Kamada but his athletisism and aggression are miles better. Kamada cannot be first choice in centre mid whilst Wharton and Timber are fit.
As a no10 Kamada isn't as hopeless as he was in the begining, but he still lacks pace, strength, and match winning individuality. He helps us a lot in the middle third, but rarely in the final third. One of the big reasons we went off the boil last year was that our front three couldn't create and score by themselves. Kamada doesn't solve that, he makes it worse. The best chance came to him today and he looked like what he is, a player who isn't a natural in the key moments in the box.
I'm not suggesting he's useless, but in this system he just doesn't have a spot.
