Probably because we've been pony this season, it's on a school night, it's another 40 quid to be found in a 'cost of living' crisis, some of the players can't be arsed so they can't be arsed too. I think there's also a bit of a disconnect at the moment between the fans, players and manager due to so many new faces arriving. We've lost our best ever manager and star players - players that you felt would give their all for the team, and replaced them with mediocrity. To me it has echoes of the 'Team of the 80s' where we had a really good period and then it all falls apart.
Or perhaps a lot of people feel the same way I do about European football, and that's a bit meh. Winning in Europe comes nowhere near as close to winning the FA Cup for me.
That said, I'll be doing my usual 120 mile round journey (after work) which means getting back home around midnight, then having to get up again at 6 am for work, but I don't judge those who won't be going for
