Currently we (the club) are expecting to travel to Cyprus. It’s an ongoing situation and we may have to change those plans at the last minute, depending on the situation on the ground, government advice, and pending the decision of suits from UEFA and both FAs.
Second time we find ourselves in this kind of situation in this inaugural European campaign. Obviously there was some question for a short time where our game against Dynamo was to be held.
You never want to see something like this affect the game. Incidentally we did benefit from it last time as I’m sure the second batch of tickets never would’ve come to pass if it had been a true Dynamo home game. You’d trade it for peace every time though.
Fingers crossed this game will stay in Larnaca, the fighting will come to an end, and the only battles we will have to concern ourselves will be on the pitch.
Pure speculation, but in the event that the game does move I would imagine Athens or Belgrade as the most likely alternatives, of course depending on their own situations by then.
