Labour Party politics

I will repeat two of them got NINETEEN years a piece, as for pubs they are not all as good as the Wellington Rob Jones has done well in creating such a success. According to google

UK immigration and net migration are falling significantly, reversing the record highs seen in 2022–2023. As of late 2025, net migration dropped roughly 70% to around 200,000, returning to pre-Brexit levels, primarily due to fewer work and study visas granted. That last bit is due to Labour in action.

You mentioned the Navy firing on small boats.

So I engaged with you on that topic - small boats.

Your response was related to the overall immigration figures. I countered with the stats specifically relating to small boats and asked you whatever happened to Starmers '' smashing the gangs ''

You really should be in Starmers Cabinet - you have all the deflection qualities that he and his Party continue to demonstrate ! 😊

You've made my day. What do you think of the nineteen years a lot of stir for messing about in boats.

So you think the Select Committee are '' morons ''....interesting. I assume that's because of your devotion to Starmer.

Whenever he is asked about what HE is doing NOW about any given issue, his default is to blame everything on the last government. People are sick and tired of hearing that.

He's not a dynamic ' doer ', he's a process driven box ticker. Government rarely moves at pace, but whenever Labour do it usually results in a U-turn as the outcomes haven't been thought through properly.
However, in times such as these you look to leaders that can respond quickly to events. Starmer is basically claiming that he can't defend the country or it's interests because the Treasury hasn't approved / funded it !

I've not met anyone that thinks that the Navy ( what's left of it ) should open fire on the small boats. But I've met loads of people who are still waiting for Starmer to deliver on his promise to '' smash the gangs ''
This mob have been in charge for nearly 2 years now, 40% through their term. Surely they’ve had enough time to make positive plans ?

That is still good news. Shoreham is a nice environment and I will be eternally jealous of having the Wellie as a local.
It’s nice but now too many new build homes being constructed. The infrastructure won’t cope with it ( doctors, schools, dentists etc ).

Lived here for nine years but plan to move back to Hove at some point.

The Welly is a gem that would have been even better - a Palace fan took it over a few years back but sadly he passed away soon after ☹️

They have a beer festival coming up Last time I was there it was cracking, Hove is a vibrant place now. Sorry to hear about the Landlord who was a Palace fan I like him already what a shame.

In late 90s, Tony Blair announced that visa issuing should be less rigorous
, to encourage more foreign students and a more diverse society. This is a fact, I was working as a Visa Officer in Pakistan at the time and was giving those instructions. So, it was Labour that initially opened the doors

I wouldn't say he lost it he is just putting morons right , I know the feeling i'm forever correcting neanderthals who say the navy should open fire and murder illegal immigrants in inflatable boats ,these are families women and children seeking a better life ,plain cold calculated murder is not an option. Did you bother to listen to the snippet? Another Tory begging Nigel to join the Tory mark two project.
This is where your argument falls down

As to are talking Bo lux your on ignore bye bye.

The welfare bill will never come down under this government. They will never increase defence spending or stop illegals entering.

They must not be allowed to get a second term. That should be the only mission for the electorate.

I would urge everyone to vote Reform. Forget about Rupert Lowe. He is poling at 4% He will be lucky to get one seat.
I hope the Greens eat up some of the potential Labour vote and that former Tory voters don't have short memories.
We cannot allow the votes of the ever increasing number of foreigners, weirdos and dimwits to decide our future. They will take us down the road to disaster if we let them.

Watching PMQs is depressing and an insight as to what is wrong with politics.

We have a government and opposition who are deeply unpopular fencing with each other and then the prearranged questions specifically designed to allow the PM to slag off the party highest in the polls who don't get to say anything. Meanwhile, you have the biggest wanker in politics, which admittedly has stiff competition, Ed Davey, doing his weekly cameo and talking the usual twaddle.

Just vote Reform. Save us from this uniparty nightmare.
