Labour Party politics

Reform likes to present itself as the true guardian of right-of-centre politics, the party that believes in fiscal discipline, smaller government, and lower taxes. But scratch beneath the slogans and a very different picture emerges. It is one of economic confusion, populism, and ideological incoherence.

The most telling evidence comes from the ground, where theory and practice are not aligned. Councils run by Reform are already admitting they lack the fiscal flexibility to keep their own campaign promises.
Even if this is true can you name any political party that does this?

Councils have blocked Reform from looking at their books. Quite incredible that the elected council is refused access by unelected public sector workers.

The subject matter is 'Labour' but I was responding to comments concerning 'Yours Truly' and Reform.
I can of course provide evidence to substantiate my assertions, I was not merely deriding Reform with a fabrication.
The debate will go 'Off piste' if I gallivant down the Reform alley.
To be fair you have been in that alley for months.

I have not heard or read Farage reporting such specific details. He has asserted that in SOME areas Reform were being hamstrung by existing bureaucracies.
I am advised that in Warwickshire, opposition parties have criticised Reform for their plans to hire political assistants costing up to £190,000 per annum stating that this money would be better spent on front-line services.
I am conscious of the fact this debate is about 'Labour' so I shall now focus my attention away from Reform.

If you put your party loyalty over the future of this country, then you are as bad as the ideologues that are currently running it.

The only aim of the right should be to remove this disgraceful government, who are steadily wrecking the economy and culture of this country in order to keep their jobs.

Fighting between the right wing parties will only hand Labour more seats.

Then elaborate on the reform thread. If you’re going to make claims, provide examples and evidence or you sound just as bad as the liars in the Labour Party and government.

The erudite Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg has expressed the desire for 'some form' of electoral pact between the Conservatives and Reform UK ahead of the next general election.
I am a proud member of the Conservative Party and will continue to serve my party to the best of my ability. Willo is NOT for turning to Reform !

I would hope that you are not making accusations casting aspersions as to my honesty and integrity.
I have not engaged in fabrication with the sole intention of deriding Reform.

With the greatest of respect Sir, given the tone of your comments I am not minded to 'March to your drum'.
I stand four-square behind my comments concerning Reform.
Which translates to ‘I have nothing to say because I have nothing to say’

Either back up your opinions or get called out for talking rubbish

With respect I would avail of another 'Translate' facility.
If you have concluded that I have engaged in fabrication then I will respectfully state that you suffer from the material disadvantage of being wrong.
I have nothing more to add, may the debate return to 'Labour'. Gladiatorial hostility can be aimed at them !
I thank you Sir. Enjoy what remains of the weekend. 👍

You criticise something and cannot explain why

You are unable to, that is why. But if you can, what’s stopping you, apart waffling nonsense?

Explain your opinion or look foolish.
What he needs to explain is why he is putting party loyalty before ousting this totally incompetent and dangerous government.

If Labour retain power, it will be because some Tories are more in love with their little rosettes than with their country.

Labour vote against releasing migrant crime data. Well of course they do! Because they want another cover up and don’t want the people of this Country to see just how bad things are with migrants! 🤬

A survey of Conservative members in early October suggests that swathes would be happy if the leader of the party made an agreement with Nigel Farage to "work together".
I am certainly NOT defecting to Reform, I shall continue to wear my blue rosette with pride.
