Labour party conference

Tories deserved all they got, unfortunately the only alternative for many were the fuckwits we have in now
Apropos the last government there are some very fair grievances - losing a sense of what the party stands for, the inability to deliver on certain promises, not being "Conservatives", the 'blue on blue' infighting etc etc etc We have accepted that we lost the trust of the electorate and it has to be regained.
Learning from past mistakes is part of the recovery process but a revival of our fortunes cannot be achieved by a flick of the switch.

I have no interest in viewing the Conservative Conference.
They will roll out the stage management, parade slogans, read lines off autocues while the house burns behind them.
Ministers resigning in disgrace, advisers walking away in disgust, an economy on the brink of crisis. The rot spreads through Downing Street and Cameron/Johnson/Sunak/May etc cannot control it.

See how this reads....

I am in total agreement about the hypocrisy of Labour. Shame on them.
The hypocrisy extends far beyond the words delivered by a failing Chancellor whose voice grates on me.

Conservatives reduced the deficit every year until the pandemic, reformed education to give the next generation the best start in life, got 4 million more people into work, created the conditions for 1.1 million more businesses to open, secured trade deals with 73 countries and cushioned the blow of Covid.
We faced crises, we made hard calls but we made mistakes and lost the trust of the electorate.
And created Brexit.
Let's see how that's gone.

2016 was the best political year of my life!

The economy is mostly fecked because we spent 400 billion on covid....where I suspect you took all the jabs and followed all the rules.....So the economics of now are mostly that.....as is your high energy bill the Ukraine war, which you probably agree with funding.

It isn't Brexit....Germany have been in recession and France will also soon be looking for loans.....but apparently the EU is some economic haven?

Not saying the EU is a economic haven, but how has it stopped mass immigration which most people voted for it for?
Also how do you know if I took all the jabs and followed the rules. You don't know anything about me other than what I put on here occasionally.

Merkel encouraged millions of third world migrants into Europe, especially Germany, remember?

You may well see a pact between Labour and the Lib Dems at the next GE.
That would be like " savaged by a dead sheep "

I see a battering for the Lib dems next GE, Davey is a joke living off the taxpayer

I would buy a beer for whoever is advising Starmer.

I would also encourage Farage to actively pursue Lammy for slander and damages, the apology of sorts given by Lammy is not sufficient.

All in all, a good conference so far for those who don't support Labour

And we still have the Starmer's inheritance tax avoidance, the rent boy arson incident and the Morgan McSweeney stuff to run their full course

Sunack did the same, but just didn't publicise it.
This information came out after he left office..,Remember.
Indeed Sunak’s deal with India allowed many into the Country, action I disagreed with, however these were granted visas so, at least they were vetted and we knew who they were. Somewhat different.

Labour are doing very well indeed,to assess this i've used a well known Tory measure of how to Gauge UK plc. The Ftse this year opened at 8,260 points and this morning is up at 9,385 points. Unlikely that we have had many better performances this Century. Well done UK plc.

This is in the main due to the non UK earnings of the FTSE component companies, not because the UK economy is doing well, which it is not.

If you actually believe the UK economy is doing well then not much I can add.
