Kudos to Kemi

It was very funny from both sides, I was laughing at the comedy this morning at the highlights. But give her the funniest quip about Rachel's breakfast announcement "...we interrupt your Cheerios...." 🤣

Reeves and Starmer are easy targets. Anybody with average intelligence could out debate them. As for charisma, I've some gone off cheese with far more. It's in the food bin, which would be an appropriate place for all involved. Unfortunately.
I would just like to see some competent people in government or opposition. Feels like I'm hoping for far too much.

Couldn't agree more AS. I cringe when I see MPs in the Commons reading their 'speeches' from notes. It's always refreshing to see the likes of Mel Stride, Andrew Griffith or Richard Tice speaking off the cuff using all their business background to good effect.

Anyway, I agree with the OP - Kemi did a good job yesterday to make something of the Budget shambles.

She is starting to grow on me I have to admit. She is getting better at the PMQs.
PMQ banter is all very nice but what about policy?

Anyone can criticise, and anyone can make promises in opposition.

I want a government who actually does what is right for the country, not what is politically expedient.

Kemi talks a good talk. And because of her identity, it will be more difficult for the Globalist Evil Empire to take her down. They are unlikely to try to smear her with a contrived rape or S.Assault allegation - Donald Trump style.

However, they did a hatchet job on Liz Truss, so they always have other means of getting rid of a popular Conservative. Kemi could learn from Truss.

I like yesterday when she mentioned keir stalin as "being chaos" referencing the beth rigby interview with him.

He doesn't answer a single question. Every time he was quized about the budget he would just mention the budget under liz truss which had no relevence to that car crash budget or the leaks yesterday.

We need 10 and 20 year policy horizons, I remember David Cameron pooh poohing building more nuclear power and saying to the effect that they took x years to build and so no.
