Kamada scores!

I hope Kamada is reading this thread as I am not sure if he realises he had scored!

When I saw on the news that he had scored, I had to watch it....

I saw someone climb at the near post like a salmon and hit a perfectly timed and powerful header towards goal....

...and then it skimmed Kamada's head who just seemed to be standing there 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

But, a goal is a goal 👍
It came up straight away on the graphics that it was kamadas goal, but even the commentator didn’t notice it

I have always been one of Kamada's critics, but he has improved so much over the past year or so. His performance against the Netherland was great, especially the pass for the first goal. Well done Daichi! Please sign a new contract.

Harsh criticism of Kamada was entirely justified for at least his first year with us, notwithstanding good performances at Wembley, and also (albeit to a lesser extent) for the first half of last season. I was perfectly happy to acknowledge how much better he got over time, however, and especially how well he played in Europe. He has done enough to change my mind on him. I wanted him gone, now I want him to stay (he says, as if his opinion matters!).

I'll tell you what, though: For a bloke who passes it sideways and backwards so much, he knows how to take a risk in the game of life. Letting your contract run down can make you rich if you get a bigger deal at your next club, as free agents tend to, but it can also leave you poor if you break your leg first. Then you're out injured with no club doctor and physio, and unemployed. He's taken that risk twice already, I believe.

This summer, he's took it to another level. I'm sure he's well aware that his options and value will increase if he plays well on the biggest stage of all (and he played quite well last night, fluke goal aside), but he's also playing all these huge extra games, prolonging the risks. If he gets a bad injury at any stage then that offer from Palace might suddenly evaporate. A lot of players might want to sign that deal before getting on the plane, so that they have that protection going into these big games.

I mean, I know nobody ever actually tackles anybody these days, and one of my complaints about Kamada is just how excellent he is at staying well out of harms way, but still....

If he's injured for half the season, we won't revoke our offer. We should know that by now.

it was a good run too, cutting inside behind the centre half, I think he's not very good receiving the ball with a standing start, he likes to run on to the ball and he's good at one twos, he could link up well with Wharton, I've given up on him a bit like everyone else, at Old Trafford there was a clumsy first touch when he was through on goal, but before that there was a lovely first time flick to set up a shot for a team mate which got overlooked, you never know it may suddenly click for him. He's not rubbish he is just under performing for us.
Thing is ex he's been exceptional in the games for us that have really mattered. Took him a while to settle and to feel part of the team, and consistency throughout the whole season would have been great but, apart from a couple of players, who has been consistent? Would try and hold on to him all day long....cue Sprites etc😉😂

All he needs now is to learn how to make a tackle. I know tackling is practically nonexistent in the modern game, but when he does have to make a tackle he seems to always give away free kicks which always seem to be around our box.
