JP

I think JP loves playing for us and would be willing to sign a new contract if we make the right offer. He’s probably hit his ceiling and at his age the risk of ending up on the bench elsewhere is not worth taking.
Definitely. Give him a slice of the Édouard salary savings to at least put him on the same money as Nketiah. Earning £2 m a year less than his understudy wouldn't please many and isn't good man management.

Yeah I think this is the reason he hasn’t signed. We want to keep him but don’t desperately want to start paying him a lot more ASAP. Unless someone comes in for him which may bring it to a head I can see it dragging on for a while.

For me, JP is our most important player both on and off the pitch. He is the focal point of our attacks, he now has the ability to hold off multiple defenders to allow us to get up the pitch, he can dribble, and he can score. He's even learned to use his head. On top of that he makes everyone smile and is a huge personality. I want to see him end his days at Palace. Give him the money and get his name on a new contract.

JP will be 30 when his current contract expires. How much of an extension would you give him if he were willing to sign? Personally, if Emegha is an genuine option, should we take the plunge and let Mateta go in January if the price is good and he wanted to go?

It will be interesting to see how Uche settles. He seems to have risen quickly in Spain and was well regarded by his club and their fans. Is he a potential striker?
Played pretty much every where save in goal

I don't want him being tired for us. I'm selfish.
Tired would be a good offset for him realizing that he can make the WC - if he takes his chance - whilst playing for Palace. Injured not so much
A shame Lacroix hasn't made it. Perhaps Konate carries through his Liverpool form and our guy sneaks in next time

J-PM and MO playing for France does confirm that time spent in Beckenham and Selhurst Park may, at the moment be considered an essential part of a footballer's development and CV.
Yep. Add in Mbappe playing at Hilly Fields and Zidane, Platini and Henry at Mayow Park every Sunday.
