Rather have a player, who wants to be here, than a French lump,who got a lucky French cap due to injuries. He hasn't wanted to be here since, thinks he is too good for us, deluded idiot.

Perhaps there’s a salary reduction if Wolves get relegated…and we pay more than he would get next year in the championship.
 
Pino needs to watch it. Forest will target him now.. He seems like he could be played to get another yellow.
 
Sounds like this deals dead and i am glad madness these figures for this guy.

Even if he did come good there is no way he would become a player worth much more then what we was going to pay so its poor business.

Yes I'd rather have a player who's willing to be here. But not if that's going to cost us almost 50m for a distinctly average player for whom it looks like we'll be able to provide no service to.

The incoming manager will then be stuck with him and have no funds.
 
Its just such a ridiculous fee.

For 50m there wouldn't be many strikers across Europe you couldn't get. The fact that we are going to smash our transfer record on a chump who cant even get in the Wolves team is beyond depressing.

Yep, I'm thinking the same.

Our new model seems to be buying misfits for top dollar and I don't buy the 'we need someone who's Prem ready' line. Another 6-8 points and we're likely safe, why not carry on the buy cheap and develop strategy? There's a lot to be said for enthusiasm.....apparently!!

I don't understand it. We've finally managed to make profit with our 'but potential' philosophy, only to now waste it all on mediocre 'established' players. It's very infuriating and very depressing. A change in approach that I can't see ending well.
