John Prescott

A perfect deputy to Tony Blair,Labour always works well when you get a middle class leader and a man of the people,Atlee had Bevin and Bevan.
 
He was part of Blairs Government who set out to destroy this country. I hold the man in nothing other than utter contempt, like all is colleagues. I detest this false sentimentality that many on the Right indulge in. He was a puppet. And happily reveled in that role.

hindsight is a great thing.
Ive not voted Labour since Blair & boy do I still regret it.
Prescott was old labour & had the old union principles.
who knows .
The current bunch of villans & communists should not be allowed to even use the labour name.

I always voted Labour until Blair like you - obviously we're all working class. Haven't voted since Blair as there is no one representing me. I might re-register and vote Reform next time.
Didn't mind Prescott, although I believe he had a couple of Jags and his kids went to Public school - although these are just vague memories. I presume Blair f***ed him over somehow in the end as he didn't seem his type. Again just presumption.
I think we can all agree that Prescott is nowhere near the level of the current absolute corrupt scum that "runs" the country.
At the end of the day, RIP to John Prescott and condolences to his family. I doubt it's been easy for them as I have lost and am losing family currently to similar conditions and they have my sympathy for what it's worth.

I think Prescott doing that over his desk with his secretary may have had a small contribution to his downfall, along with the oily apology to the world at large with his wife, wearing 2 gallons of hairspray, half a ton of make-up and a rictus smile at his side, "standing by him".

Well quite. He was a politician who part of a Government that potentially screwed the UK forever. And never even resisted. Instead abused his office, quite literally in his case. The political equivalent of those Judas animals they use in slaughterhouses to con the others into following them to their demise.
