Saw him in 2007 performing in Lloyds Park at the Croydon Summer Show. One of the great reggae singers with many hits back in my younger days 🙂 and :-(

My band. The SKAstards will be doing a tribute to Jimmy at our next gig this Friday in Druids,Maidstone( any Eagles around pop in for a night of Trojan,reggae,ska and 2-Tone). We will be doing "The Harder They Come" as it's in our current set along with "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "I Can See Clearly Now". RIP Jimmy and thank you for the music!

I used to watch him quite often 50 plus years ago on Sundays at Eel Pie Island in Twickenham where he was a regular.
