I remember at Newport away the ‘toilets’ were just a wall at the back you had to piss up in full view of everyone, no ladies toilets at all
Or though to be fair it was the year they went bust and I think they’d already started demolishing the ground

Also to be fair the locals probably travelled for miles to gaze in awe at this miracle of modernity.

I seem to recall that the Reading toilets were the same at their old ground

I recall seeing our team at Elm Park but have no recollection of using these facilities.
In terms of Newport, I did visit Somerton Park but I was fortunate enough to utilize the hospitality at the ground.

Canvot - still a youngster learning his trade. At times very good (especially when driving forward with the ball) but is making costly mistakes .

His passing is very much hit & miss, and I never understand his positioning for when we take corners. Always seems to be getting into a fight with someone. Stop marking their goalkeeper and try running on to the ball from outside the box.

I am afraid I'm not convinced by Canvot. I haven't seen any real progress in the last 12 months. That maybe because his confidence is shot given the defensive woes at the moment. But he is a poor header of the ball which is a prerequisite in the PL. And yes he can bring the ball out but does get caught in possession - several times v Forest for example.

He did play a few games as a DM when at Toulouse. I do wonder whether he might not be an option in that position for us alongside Wharton with Timber being allowed to play a more box-to-box role. Obviously that requires a 433 or 4321 system.

I dont know what the future may bring for Canvot . He seems a likeable lad and one that will improve in time and will do a decent job for someone somewhere ,it might as you suggest even be with us in some capacity .
But from what Ive seen to date it wont be as a centre back in the PL .

Not tough enough, not fighting for the shirt, not giving their all. That's why it doesn't seem like us.
