Just keep Guehi. With Canvot and hopefully Riad we should be ok next season if Guehi indeed winds down his contract.

Keeping Guehi will be integral to making sure we limit the damage from the late transfer activity fiasco. As OG said in his presser, our defence is key to how we have performed so far., and Marc has been key to our solidity.

If Liverpool keep shipping goals for the rest of the first half of the season, they may come in for Guehi in January and pay us a decent fee.

It will be around half up front. Installments over maybe three to five years - and conditional add ons, like 50 appearances, winning a cup, getting into Europe etc.

Not sure Parish will favour on the side of a loss of £35m+ for the use of one player for a season, but let’s wait see what happens.

I know what you mean but he was on the bench for their first two matches, apparently played well in pre-season and is going to be pretty hacked off if there is another player between him and first team action.

I think he’d be a great replacement for Guehi with change paying for Canvot.

Every year posters on here and elsewhere pan our late transfer deals; and every year we come good albeit a little later.

We are playing upwards of one million games this season. He will get plenty of starts

Would be good if we sold Guehi in the January window. Get through the league stage of the Conf League and then sell him for £15-20m once Canvot has established himself in the squad and learnt Glasner's playing style.
