Israel v Iran

Probably wrong thread, apologies mods.
Do these MPs not realise that these are exactly the type of young Iranian men who have been entering the UK, undocumented, for years! Woken up too late I’m afraid

That's what I was thinking yesterday. Lots of undocumented terror cells are already on our shores, being put up in hotels and given mobile phones and cash. There are very obviously 'sleepers' established already, although these are more likely to originate from overseas students programmes.

I haven't been paying too much attention.

These attacks by both countries looking at a map of the Middle East I am assuming that the weapons are flying over other countries territories?

I wonder how they feel about this?

Agree with your first points but I don’t necessarily agree with your last point. I’m not saying overseas students would not be involved but theywould go through more checks than those arriving undocumented, we would know who they were for starters.

This is the big one that was always coming.

Iran's nuclear capability has to be destroyed, and I wouldn't be surprised if this won't also be the end of the ruling cabal that oppresses its people and funds terrorism.

The Sunni countries won't lift a finger to help. Most will be quietly cheering.
Pakistan and the Russians have their own problems.

From what I researched It can't be destroyed, it's too far down.

As for the rest we shall see.

As I said previously I think this is a mistake....especially during a cold war.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

I'd say there's a lot to this. It'll be spread out over various locations and deep underground. They'll also house it in places like below blocks of apartments or hospitals.

It might be difficult to penetrate physically, but if you take out the people who control it and secure it using allies within Iran, then everything looks more positive.

I'm guessing that this is the goal.

That's true, but it's also true of most.

The idea that military locations never intersect with civilian and aren't hidden there is one born of a romance that never existed.

Especially when it comes to mobile air defence due to cover when protecting urban areas.

Indeed, we will have secret locations in such places too. I know of several.
I always thought there was something fishy about Sainsburys at the Whitehorse Lane end.

Not really. Bunker busters can easily get though 50m earth with 10m conctrete. They wouldn't be putting anything under a hospital, it's not Gaza. They do have big mountains to burrow into though.

Well then. Lets not ask the question about some people's ability to disassemble and re-assemble a firearm ? in less than 2 minutes ? or whatever the correct time-span is for trained personnel......i myself wouldnt know.

the idea of having a 'second strike capability' dates back to the Cold War. MAD....Mutual Assured Destruction. Its bread and butter to any military types.

Nuclear Weapons, suicidal military strategy, and Religious Fundamentalism makes a heady mix.
