Israelis can't donate to US elections as it's illegal. If you mean AIPAC, then it is one of hundreds of lobby groups that also include ones from Saudi Arabia and Qatar plus Big Pharma etc.

In the 2022 midterms, pro Israel groups spent up to $40million out of the total spend of $9billion. That is 0.4% of donations.

America doesn't tend to criticise Israel much because they are allies – that's how it works. However, there are lots of examples of the US criticising Israel under many administrations when it felt necessary.

Iran has been a civilisation for thousands of years before Israel existed. And will be a civilisation for thousands of years after Israel ceases to exist.

Israel is screwed. It can throw everything it can muster, cajole the West into attacking Iran and generally make like hell for Iran and in the end, Iran wins.

Their actions are not the actions of a nation with any real power. Sure, I am convinced they use their diaspora to bribe and blackmail Western politicians, but that is always going to be fleeting.
