This was just a starting point - they didn't even bother to negotiate!

Clinton packed the negotiating team with.....how can I say this....not exactly objective people.

Like I say, I don't think it works anyway....But it was the closest it came and I think the blame is more on Clinton personally.....He was like Blair, a lot of today's problems find their root with him....The 2008 crash for example, can be sourced back to Clinton's banking changes.

There was a documentary on that 2000 Camp David negotiation a while back.....I think they saw it as a golden opportunity lost.

I just don't think the two state solution works.....because human nature.

The Romans kicked most of the Jews out of their homeland, and it was their homeland two thousand years ago. Since then they were all over the shop until 48 (well mostly eastern Europe)....becoming part ethnically European by varying degrees, some of them mostly.

Now you say they should all bugger off to the states and cede Israel to the Arabs (which they would turn into another shithole)......Here's my main gripe with this.

What makes this the land of the Arabs? Those buggers kicked most of the Christians and Jews out previously or made them live under various Islamic regimes as second class citizens. And another point is the middle east don't stay in their own lands anyway....they feel entitled to invade Europe and bring their issues here.

The Muslims themselves took those lands from previous religions and now when you look at the middle east it's gone from a diverse set of lands to a mono religion. They hate the Jews, but they did to others what the Jews do to them.

There are various solutions to the Palestinian/Israel problem but neither side really will accept anything other than a total win. The Palestinians will never accept the land loss and the Jews are over powered compared to the opposition and similar to the Russians they aren't going to come to any compromises that they don't have to.

I've definitely made it clear that I'm against wars against women and children, but these two hate each other so much that they truly don't care.

Jews have had a presence on the land of Israel for over 3,000 years. They just want to live on a tiny strip of their homeland in safety and in peace. Antisemites like you would be happy to see them persecuted in the USA like they have been throughout history with no home.

Except Israel have been taking land incrementally for decades and putting Settlers onto Palestinian property and land. Israel has been expanding it's borders and treating non-jews as second-class citizens.
Just putting some balance out there.

What land are your referring to and when was it apparently "taken"? The so called West Bank is actually Judea and Samaria.

Because they are being attacked in the US today and have been persecuted throughout time. Not sure you know much about history but putting aside the Holocaust, they have been ethnically cleansed from across the Middle East and beyond.

Given that Islam didn't appear until 1400 years ago I'm really struggling with the bit about who's land it was.

It's stunning how little basic understanding the pro Arab campaigners have.

Tell that to the Israeli doctor who saved the life of Hamas terrorist Yahya Sinwar in 2004. Sinwar was in prison and Dr. Yuval Bitton diagnosed, then treated a brain tumour he spotted. Then 19 years later, the debt was repaid by Hamas murdering his nephew.
