Israel v Hamas

No one's complaining the food aid programs they do......the money that doesn't go to warlords that is.

Everybody knows the problem with the UN when it gets into political territory.

You can’t dismiss absolutely everything they’ve had to say and then suddenly use them as a source when they make a statement you like - topic aside, that’s just a completely bullshit approach.

And let me guess; the reports criticising Israel are the biased ones, and the ones that don’t criticise Israel aren’t 😂

That’s obviously not you projecting your own biases. Definitely not.

So have you anything to say about UN finally admitting that Hamas are targeting supplies and aid the the civilians of Palestine?

?

Really? So if they say or do something I do like (with other people's money by the way) that means I have to like everything they say or do?

How is an absolutist approach correct? Do you apply this kind of thinking elsewhere?

It’s nothing to do with liking or disliking what they say - it’s whether you accept them as a reliable source or not.

To completely dismiss a source as biased and unreliable, but then lean on that same source when it suits you is obviously bullshit.

I think Hamas are scumbags - this is further evidence of them being scumbags. Thanks for sharing.

See how easy that is!? Why can’t you do it for Israel?

I didn't say I trusted them as a source.

I said I agreed with feeding starving people and the giving of humanitarian aid.

Many people of differing political beliefs agree on that same point. They disagree on many others.

What you are saying is loopy and mixes categories.

I have no clue what discussion you think is being had, but it’s certainly not one I’m aware of.

Do you think this AI guff is a good argument?

Can you highlight what with the question phrasing, or indeed the final detail release, of the surveys I shared that you feel could be considered biased? What are the leading questions?

Pointing out that bias can sometimes exist is not an argument - you have to specifically identify bias in what you're critiquing.

I'd also try quoting with quote marks next time - clue is in the name 👍
Pedantry is no way to win a debate, but I would expect nothing less from you!

Your arrogance knows no bounds.

When is a ceasefire, or indeed any form of negotiated settlement, completely voided ?

When it is made with the USA or Israel.

13 Jul 2026
At least three Palestinians have been killed and 15 others wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources told Al Jazeera, as Israel continues to violate an October ceasefire agreement.

One of the dead on Monday was killed in an Israeli drone attack on a motorcycle in southern Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood. Nine civilians were also injured in the attack, in which two missiles were fired.

A ceasefire is voided when Hamas violates it by rearming, firing, or plans attacks.

The IDF attacked a Hamas weapons site where the terrorists were operating:

You are correct.

No sides are honouring the ceasefire.

The memo of understanding is on last rites...

So presumably, HAMAs (of which I am no defender) can reciprocate these actions.,....

"Israel conducted several other attacks in Gaza on Monday, as it showed no sign of letting up its strikes on the devastated Palestinian territory.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli air raid struck a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The wounded were taken to Nasser Hospital."

The point being, there is an Israeli excuse for every IDF murdering Palestinian civilians en masse killing. It cannot be justifiable. The beginning of the razing of Gaza should have signalled international condemnation and sanctions. It didn't. Every Western nation took as long as possible to delay doing anything to stop it.
This is a humanitarian issue, beyond anything else.

the wiping out of a historical civilisation is being conducted by USA/Israel and HAMAS.
