Israel v Hamas

Are you seriously suggesting that Hamas do not control Gaza because there has not been any election sine the last one which Hamas won on a destroy Israel ticket

If you are happy to state that Hamas need to be eradicated ( without qualification ) then I can give some time to what you post.

The problem here is that jew haters will not accept that if Israel is not attacked from Gaza then it has no need to expend massive resources on a military defence.
Yes without qualification, my issue is not dissimilar in terms of not seeing fault on both sides where there's an intolerence on your opponents right to exist.

I absolutely do not agree Israel is trying to eradicate the Palestinians in Gaza, or the West Bank, they simply want to stop being attacked at every level whether it be missiles, bus bombs in Jersalem or stabbings in Tel Aviv.

Hamas and their supporters are the opposite.

If Hamas surrendered completely and attacks stopped then Netanyahu would be into a downward spiral

Have a look at the Religious Zionist Party and see what you think, I'd be interested.

I am talking about the general population, not an extreme fringe group who have 7 seats in the Knesset.

Similarly the Corbyn lot in Westminster, fringe fanatics who do not represent the population of the UK.

As far as I can see from a quick search, the RZP do not set policy just bark from the sidelines, they do not seem to have called for the eradication of Palestinians as Hamas have for Israel.

Are you trying to argue that the extreme stance RZP somehow justifies Hamas?

In my limited knowledge the RZP will not contribute anything to move towards peaceful co-existence in the area.

He said exactly what he meant, oppressed group because that's how Marxists view geopolitics - oppressed v oppressor - in their dumb ideology. Muslims are in the "protected group".

So technically if Liverpool fans attack Palace fans on Saturday before the game it's genocide and a war crime.

The intransigence of the pro Hamas posters on here reminds me of the time when it was virtuous to chant Black Lives Matter but evil and racist to say All Lives Matter.

Plus every other campaign these volatile nutters get in their bonnet. Flag racism now, after they've been waving the fictional nation of Palestine flag for 2 years

They are in a coalition government though

If you’re going to quote me, in bold, and start rambling about Marxists again… at least make sure the quote is accurate 🤣

Protected group is the wording used in the definition from the UN Genocide convention. I have never used the word oppressed in this context.

I guess you see what you want to see - very dumb.

It's a leftist way of thinking to exclude opinions they don't like. A coalition is more effective as a broad church, the opposite of Hamas.

You're not interested in finding out imo, you're too sinister in your comments. You're not that clever pal.

They aren't a protected group though. Not a race, nation or religion. And Hamas certainly don't protect anybody.

Hamas narrowly beat Fatah in the 2006 election with about 45%. That is, less than half at what must have been their most popular. period Who knows if their popularity and thus mandate has risen or fallen in the following 19 years. I am not sure MORI have conducted a verifiable poll.

Anyway, voting for them 2 decades ago does not justify execution by drone.
