Yes, it does have some influence but you are overplaying this... for some reason.

The lobbying is just one of a number factors: intelligence sharing, defence contracts, strategic for the region (fighting Iran and terrorism), public opinion in the US...

Not all evangelical Christians support Israel unconditionally. Many younger ones don't support the Biblical justifications you mention. 'Churches for Middle East Peace' advocate for Palestinian rights. In 2020, 76% of white evangelical voters supported Donald Trump, but this is not "all".

Saying "the US gives Israel carte blanche" is another exaggeration and there examples to prove it.

And why are so many other countries allied with Israel where the "Jewish lobby" doesn't really exist?

Do not include in that list countries like ours who support Israel because the US does.

So is Starmer including Hamas controlled Gaza in his recognition of a Palestinian state?

It's easy to say Hamas will have no part going forward, how exactly is that going to be achieved?

A Hamas free Gaza may be able to become a viable area for people to have a chance of making a the area a place where people can live in peace and move forward and I hope that happens.

It's all politicking until Hamas are totally eliminated, a shallow attempt to stem the UK muslim vote abandoning Labour
 
Virtue signalling nonsense from these nations, already influenced via fear by resident Muslims and their very loud activists.

Just like the awful 1 in 1 out deal of bullshit it is seen as weakness by those who seek to exploit, and in this case it's terrorists who are responsible for the deaths of many Israeli citizens, both Jew and Arab. It's embarrassing.

What you're describing is collective punishment, which is a war crime.

You've also been arguing for months on end is that Israel is not deliberately killing civilians... the above seems to fly in the face of that idea.
