It won't be the end of the matter until the last minute of the window has passed.
The reality is that all players are 'not for sale' ....until they are.
I also saw direct quotes from Sage that 'for the moment ' Sarr is not for sale and when asked if Sarr wanted to stay Sage said, 'you'll have at ask him.'
Sarr has been great for us and I'm sure we are not trying to push him out of the door.
But am I convinced he will be with us at the end of the window?

He’s under contract for another 3 years and the transfer window will close in a week. After watching the game yesterday do you think Parish will really risk us getting relegated for £30m? That’s how crucial the player is. Probably wouldn’t have lost yesterday if he’d played.
I don't want Sarr to go, but it's worth bearing in mind that Lacroix also had 3 years left on his contract.
I'm sure Parish would prefer him to stay too.
Nonetheless, these days unhappy players ( if indeed he is) tend to get their way and get their move.
All I'm saying is that I don't feel 100% confident that Sarr will be with us at the end of the window, whereas I am that someone like Mitchell will be.

Why would SP approve £40m?
United too apparently. Couldn't really begrudge him a move to a Champions League club to be honest. Have a feeling there's gonna be a late flurry of interest in Sarr and probably Wharton, whilst we'll be left with an unhappy Mateta who no one will be interested in!
Feels like a right mess tbh Sage already had his work cut out for him but dealing with all the noise must be bloody difficult.
It would be all the same if we covered these situations really well but since Dougie, went we don’t seem to. We have lost two of the best centre backs in the league , yet no real effort to cover what has to be a glaring hole. So lose Sarr, and what? I wonder.
