i reckon its got less to do with Players and more to do with Scots living (& working) in London. There is a vibrant Irish Palace community, so surely there is the same for Scots ?
Palace are nothing if not eccentric. I was at a French holiday camp and met a bloke wearing Palace shorts......he was a native of Leipzig.

Don't know about Scottish supporters but a few in my local have an interest in Palace now. It started as mild piss taking but we can hardly be accused of being glory hunters and compared to the Glasgow pair almost every club up here is an underdog so there is an affinity.

Went to Highbury in the early 70’s for Arsenal v Palace game, got talking to two Celtic fans who had come down to London for the game because their idol was Willie Wallace. They were gutted when he left Celtic and just wanted to see him playing one more time.

There's a group called Crystal Haggis. I met one of them in Leipzig. They're based in Glasgow I believe. My daughter lives there and has seen them.
