Is Nuno the answer?

I'd take him over Dyche.
Can't see where this adulation for the Gravel-throated, sunfearing, Phil Mitchell wannabe comes from. I suppose it's the current lack of a true unrelegatable Disciple of Pulis.

Not that I want Nuno either. But I've no idea who i'd replace sage with, I guess that's the problem. How's Popovic doing with the Aussies nowadays?

Unless there is an option with an unblemished record waiting somewhere in Europe the options available to us have all got failure in the CV. Nuno , has had success in two jobs, not in two. The big question for Palace is ,is the team good enough to avoid relegation? All of the managers available would need that to be a positive. Personally at this moment in time I would take Nuno, over Sage, based on his work at Forest.

Changing manager isn't going to halt the slide. Nuno fills me with even more dread than Dyche.

Don’t know how true this is but I have just picked this up from sky sports

'Tuchel England assistant frontrunner to replace Sage at Palace'

Thomas Tuchel’s No 2, Anthony Barry, has emerged as a front-runner for the Crystal Palace job, according to the Mirror.

The England assistant coach is reportedly attracting interest as Palace consider their managerial options amid growing uncertainty over Pierre Sage’s future at Selhurst Park.

Barry, who has worked alongside Tuchel at Chelsea and Bayern Munich, is suggested to be keen on stepping into a Premier League head coaching role.

The 40-year-old extended his contract with the Football Association until 2028.

No managerial experience whatsoever.

Don't know what to say. He's never managed. He'd be young. However, you'd think he'd be hungry to prove himself. However, you'd think Sage would be hungry to prove himself so it doesn't seem to mean much. Looks like he's heavily into analysis and set pieces - which is interesting for us.
I don't fancy Tuchel's tactics for us. But presumably he'd be his own man.

Truth is, I can't see it. But maybe none of the usual suspects are suitable or that keen. Who knows with us sometimes? I never would have predicted Glasner or Sage until it was far more obvious than currently.

Whoever the new manager might be, they’ll have a big job on their hands. We have a Championship League side at best thanks to poor recruitment ( done on the cheap ) and low on confidence.

If the new manager keeps us up, a mid table position would be a huge achievement…

Midtable sounds optimistic right now!

He is the answer to a guaranteed relegation.
